Everyone says that you should be yourself, but then tries to enforce their opinions on others. We’re all guilty of this religious folk, scientists, even the members of SickBreed ;). The song SailFree is intended to be a ”hail” to freedom of speech, expression, choice, movement,..., but not with the American concept of freedom (to obey). Although the song contains anti-religious/atheist rhetoric, it should be taken in a broader sense. Just as the church suppressed scientific progress in the past, the current scientific community rejects new discoveries and ”dangerous” ideas, because they poke holes in our current walls of thought.

In the simplest words:
Follow your own beliefs, but keep in mind they aren’t necessarily true. Question the axioms of your culture.
