A song about the positive side of self-hatred. While the mainstream bombards the charts with positive pop songs It’s not hard to find a song that’s all about loving/accepting yourself. Well, Skeletal is the exact opposite... Low self-esteem is the first step towards self-reflection. People who don’t admit their flaws, don't understand where they stem from and ultimately fail to fix them. Never overestimate yourself, never think you’re exempt from criticism. Think critically and independently. Examine your shortcomings and try your best to fix them. Respect and self-respect are earned not given.
